St Paul’s Collegiate School offers water polo as a summer sport to male and female students at all year levels. The programme welcomes all students, regardless of previous experience, though confidence in the water and strong swimming ability are essential.
Training focuses on building strength, endurance, and ball skills in the 4m-deep pool at Water World in Hamilton. Students develop the tactics and physical fitness needed for competitive matches.
Schedule
Students train once per week at Water World. St Paul’s competes in local competitions organised by Waikato Water Polo.
Levies
The levy for Water Polo is $130 per student.
