Golf

Golf is offered as a competitive programme designed for students passionate about developing their skills and participating in regular competitions.

Students must hold a recognised golf handicap and maintain membership at a golf club. The best way of doing so is through Futures Waikato, a junior golf initiative that fosters skill development and provides regular opportunities to play in a supportive and inclusive environment. Through Futures Waikato, students can access a pathway to enhance their game while forming connections with other young golfers across the region.

Our golfers regularly participate in Waikato events, such as the Regional Matchplay Championships and the Waikato Inter-Collegiate Championships. Additionally, they represent the school in sports exchanges. For those new to the sport, St. Paul’s provides an introductory pathway focused on teaching the fundamentals and building confidence in the game. This is not considered a sports option and is additional to another sports registration.
