As the school year draws to a close, please take note of the following important dates and arrangements for end-of-year services, Prizegiving and celebrations.
Headmaster’s Final Assembly and Leavers’ Service
Students are to wear formal uniform.
Study leave begins for Years 12 and 13 after the events. Students must wear full school uniform when attending tutorials and examinations.
The last day of Year 11 academic classes is Tuesday, 10 November (Week 5), when study leave begins. St Paul’s Diploma Year 11 examinations run from Wednesday 11 to Thursday 19 November. Following examinations, Year 11 students are not required on campus until Thursday 3 December.
This is the official final day of school. Normal morning bus services will operate on Thursday 3 December. There will be no afternoon bus services. Students are to wear formal uniform.
4:30 pm: House meeting for Years 9–13, prior to the Carol Service.
Thursday 3 December | 5:00–7:00 pm, Chapel of Christ the King
The Carol Service is a special end-of-year celebration, bringing the school community together to mark the conclusion of the school year. Attendance is compulsory for all students, who must wear their number one uniform.
Parents and caregivers are warmly invited to attend in person or watch online.
7:00–9:00 pm, St Paul’s Dining Room and Tuuaapapa
Following the Carol Service, Year 13 leavers and their families are invited to St Paul’s Finale, a complimentary evening to celebrate the end of their time at St Paul’s.
This relaxed event provides an opportunity for students and their families to reconnect with friends, share memories and enjoy an evening together.
Food will be available from food trucks, including Asian fusion options and dessert from the Duck Island ice cream truck.
Students are welcome to remain in their formal uniform following the Carol Service or change into smart-casual attire.
As this is a school event, only non-alcoholic drinks will be available for students. A range of drinks will be provided for parents and caregivers.
