St Paul’s Rowing Club bring home gold at North Island Secondary Schools Rowing Championships

We are so proud of the St Paul’s Rowing Club who competed at the 2024 Aon North Island Secondary Schools Rowing Championships at Lake Karapiro over the weekend. As the final regatta before the New Zealand Secondary School Championships (Aon Maadi Regatta), it was incredible for our students to come home with 11 medals. Congratulations to the following teams on their phenomenal results:
- GOLD: Boys' U16 coxed quad sculls: L Murphy, G Weir, G Benjamin, T Thretheway and J Verry (coxswain)
- SILVER: Girls' U17 coxed quad sculls: Z Brangwynne, S Dunn, A Church, F Savill and R Issac
- SILVER: Girls U16 coxed quad sculls: Z Brangwynne, G Roberts, O Waddell, P Hunter and M Millar (coxswain)
- SILVER: Boys' U16 double sculls: G Weir and G Benjamin
- SILVER: Girls' U17 double sculls: Z Brangwynne and S Dunn
- BRONZE: Boys' U17 double sculls: K Robinson and F Rayner
- BRONZE: Boys' U18 single sculls: A Plimmer
- BRONZE: Boys' U15 coxed quad sculls: G Watson, L Peters, B Harper, Q McLean-Bluck and A Macleod (coxswain)
- BRONZE: Boys' U18 double sculls: A Plimmer and L Fairweather
- BRONZE: Girls' U17 double sculls: F Savill and A Church
- BRONZE: Boys' U17 coxed quad sculls: W Peoples, K Robinson, F Rayner, S Schulze and F Rogers (coxswain)
