Tihoi - Join our Tihoi Kitchen Team

Tihoi Venture School is the residential outdoor campus of St Paul’s Collegiate School, located on the western side of Lake Taupo on the edge of the Pureora Forest. Tihoi provides a unique and extended outdoor programme designed specifically for our Year 10 students.

We are looking for two people to join our Tihoi kitchen team:

• Part-time Kitchen Assistant, approximately 20 hours per week
• Casual Kitchen Assistant, providing on-call cover as required

Our kitchen operates seven days a week, so we are looking for people who can work flexibly on weekdays and weekends. Shifts are typically between 8.00 am and 3.00 pm, with some evening shifts finishing around 8.30 pm.

The role involves a range of general kitchen duties, including food preparation, serving meals at the servery, cleaning, washing dishes and vacuuming using a backpack vacuum.

Experience in a kitchen or similar environment would be an advantage, but it isn't essential as full training will be provided. What matters most is a great attitude, a willingness to work hard and being someone who enjoys contributing to a team.
