Year 10
Writer’s Toolbox, Health and Wellbeing, Maatauranga Maaori and Life Skills
Year 11

Year 12
Health and Wellbeing lessons and Academic Mentoring. These students will participate in the Loves Me Not programme with the Police on 4 April 4, have a full-day Road Safety Education workshop in Term 2, and a presentation from Brave.
Year 13
Careers, Academic Mentoring, and assisting the students in the transition from secondary school to employment and/or further education.
All students also had the benefit of a presentation from Jake Bailey on resilience. His message of slowing down, salvaging (finding the good), streamlining (focussing on what is important), and standing alongside was well received by our students.
Each year group will have the opportunity to engage in presentations from the external organisation, Attitude:
- Year 9 – Holistic Wellbeing
- Year 10 – Hardwired (drugs, alcohol, and peer pressure)
- Year 11 – Attitude (choices, resilience and self-esteem)
- Year 12 – Healthy relationships
- Year 13 – The Pits (mental wellbeing)
