The Under 65Kg “Porcupines” had a great win against the only undefeated team in the competition – St John’s College. Playing into a strong wind in the first half, the St Paul’s forwards played outstanding rugby, led by the contribution of the senior players Hamish Te Whare, Matthew Bailey, Matthew Stewart and Jack Davies. At half time St Paul's led by 5-0, but St John’s came back strongly and put significant pressure on, until Centre, Seton Mason scored an intercept. The final score was a 15-0 victory. Player of the day was Seb Ellice who directed play at first five superbly.
