The Development XV had their first grading game in the Waikato U16 competition and were keen to make a mark. However, the game never got out of second gear, with St Paul’s making far too many unforced errors.
The development XV eventually came away with a comfortable 36-0 win but played well below their best.
There is lots to be addressed this week in training, in what will hopefully be an improved performance next Saturday.
