Another tough contested game for the Open A. After a rough start we were unfortunately down by 7 at the end of the first quarter. Not letting this slip away the girls kept there cool and stuck to their own game. Sacred Heart lead the game up until the 4th quarter where we were able to regain the game and finished one point ahead. An enormous team effort by the girls and this is the first time in many years that St Paul's has bet Sacred Hearts top team. This places us in the top 4 for the Waikato Schools League alongside Hillcrest, Hamilton Girls High and Sacred Heart. We play in a semi final this Monday night against Hillcrest to determine if we make the finals on Monday the 8th of June.
