On Sunday St Paul's travelled to Kaipaki and made 196 batting first with Bede Higgens the mainstay with 80 and Simon Morbey 28. Disappointingly St Paul's left 11 overs unbatted in very good batting conditions. In reply Simon Morbey bowled quickly and aggressively in taking 6 for 47 from 15 overs for his second honours board performance. He was well supported by Declan Keaney who also took two wickets as champions Kaipaki were bowled out for 126, their first loss post Christmas. Again the St Pauls fielding was top notch.
