St Paul's won the toss and elected to bowl. The boys started poorly and struggled to control the wet ball conceding a lot of extras. Matthew Spence and Alex Johnson slowed down the flow of runs at exerted pressure on the batsmen. This was then backed up by excellent second spells from Christian Neethling and Shantanu Rawal. St Johns went from being 151/1 after 31 overs to being 160/5 off 34 overs. There had been a massive momentum shift. Unfortunately the rain set in and the game had to be abandoned .
