The U14’s played their best game of the season on Saturday against second placed Melville.
St Paul's Collegiate competed well in all facets of play and defended their line resolutely; however Melville had an outstanding fullback who was the difference - he scored 3 tries – each one against the run of play.
Early in the second half St Paul's were down 31 to 10 but they lifted their game and scored two great tries to close to 22 - 31
The coaches commend the boys for their great attitude and commitment something that has been lacking at time this year.
Tries were scored by Ronin Palaone, William Porritt, Matt Wilson, Liam Allen
