The girls travelled to Te Awamutu. Several injuries meant that the team could try some new formations prior to tournament. The first half was an even affair. However Te Awamutu scored a couple of quick goals. Shortly into the second half, Georgia Burke scored a penalty but suddenly Te Awamutu started scoring and before we knew it we were 6-1 down. The team played with great passion to get in back to 6-3 before a late Te Awamutu goal.
