St Paul’s started the game as the underdogs against the league leading St Peter’s team. However, a re-jigged defense managed to restrict St Peter's to some long range efforts and it wasn’t until the 20th minute that St Peter’s scored. St Peter’s continued to be frustrated until approaching half time, they scored a goal through a lapse in defence. The second half continued in the same vein with St Peter’s scoring a rather lucky goal. Although the team lost 3-0, against a team that has averaged 10 goals a game, this must rank as the one of the best games of the season. The entire team played with commitment and energy.
