St Paul’s started off in a determined fashion and although the game was a bit scrappy we were able to score in the 9th and 12th minutes through Emanae and Jade respectively. Bethlehem scored and we scored a 3rd time through Kendall to make the half time score 3 – 1.
The second half involved a fair amount of subbing in the hope of making our second match a little easier. This created a bit more pressure in terms of changing combinations but we still maintained pressure on Bethlehem College, creating a number of chances that were not converted. Bethlehem College scored once more to make the final score a 3 – 2 win to St Paul’s. A reasonably good way to prepare for our second game of the day.
