A game of two halves.
St Paul’s 1st XI played with intensity and skill against the larger and more mature Hamilton Boys side. The 1st XI went 2 nil up by half time, with two excellent goals from Rueben Andrews and Conor Shalloe. However, in the second half Hamilton Boys fought back to score three goals and Daniel Scanlon to score one goal.
HBHS scored their two goals in the last ten minutes which was very unfortunate after the 1st XI had led the game for 90% of the time.
The 1st XI can be proud of their efforts and skill they brought to their game.
