We played a well-coached side and for the first time this season our forwards could not dominate. The breakdown was well contested but the opposition’s body position was lower than ours, meaning they turned over a lot of ball.
We again made too many mistakes and Cambridge capatalised by scoring from our mistakes.
At half time the score was 5-10 to Cambridge.
We played better in the second half, making better use of the wind. We managed to score two tries and were held up over the line on numerous occasions.
The draw highlights that we will have to be better this week if we are to win our home semi-final this weekend after qualifying top of the competition.
