We faced a tough opposition and knew we would have to play well. Our forwards dominated early play. We unfortunately made too many handling errors and could not convert possession into points.
The forwards however, kept up the pressure and after a couple of drives and pick-and-goes we scored two tries.
At half time we lead 12-5.
In the second half we played better rugby and our defence also improved. We scored three good second half tries. HBHS scored one more try.
Many of the boys played their best game of the season after a poor performance last week. It was good to see them rise to the challenge the coaches put in front of them.
We will continue to work hard and improve as a home semi-final is now within our reach.
