St Paul's faced a talented and well drilled St John's team at home on Saturday.
After a slow start which saw St John's score, St Paul's improved their focus and after a fine build up James Mitchell scored in the corner. The half time score was 5 all.
St John's had the better of the second half scoring two tries to our one and ran out the winners 19 – 10. It was an even encounter but St Paul's failed to capitalise on the opportunities.
