In the first official game of the season the Development XI took on HBHS cobalt, who only two weeks earlier in a grading game had comfortably beaten us 3-1. From the onset St Paul's took control and looked set to reverse that result. Goals to Andrei Gavrilov, Josh Moss and two to Chris Swanson saw St Paul's take a 4-0 lead at half time. Continued dominance saw Mason Zhou score a 5th in the second half. Player of the day was Reuben Rajan, who in the central mid-field position controlled the entire game.
