From kick-off Sacred Heart, with three New Zealand reps on their team, dominated possession. With an excellent passing game, by half time the opposition had scored twice.
At half time the team was asked to dig deep and they responded. Slowly the tide turned and St Paul’s started to gain possession. Sacred heart used some interesting tackling techniques and St Paul's finally one a free kick. A bit too far to expect to get a goal, but Georgia popped it into the top corner from nearly 30 yards. Another free kick was then awarded merely 25 yards from the goal. Again Georgia popped it in – an exciting 2-2 draw was on the cards.
Sadly Sacred heart scored with four minutes left. Eliza was through on goal but sadly, their keeper pulled off a blinding save.
Final score 3-2 to sacred heart.
