From the kick-off, it was clear that Te Awamutu were a quality side but the girls dominated the midfield were soon 4-1 up with two goals to Eliza Larkman, one to Georgia Burke, and one to Loren Morse. Just on half time, Georgia Burke scored her second making the score 5-2 at half time.
In the second half St Paul’s were under pressure. 5-2 became 5-4, then 6-5 to St Paul’s.
