In the first game of the tournament against Napier Boys’ High School, St Paul’s controlled the game but were unable to convert their dominance into goals. St Paul’s led at half time with Devon Nolan and Daniel Sarikaya scoring goals. Unfortunately St Paul’s conceded a goal during the second half. The end result revealed deficiencies in the team patterns, positional organisation and understanding. However, the boys played with a lot of commitment and intent.
