Down to the bare 11 players the side played with great commitment against unbeaten section leaders Hillcrest. The visitors were two nil up at half time but a fine second half performance from St Paul's restricted the visitors attacks and allowed the side to create a few chances at the other end, Mason Zhou and Caleb Fotheringham both coming close.
