The 1st XIhad a day they will quickly want to banish from their individual and collective memory. Underestimating an opponent is an approach that leads to despair and disappointment. By their own admission the team did this and were left to suffer the ignominy that came as a consequence. The 4-1 defeat will hopefully sear this experience into the collective consciousness of the team so that the pain and scars of the event are never felt again.
