The two teams turned out to be very evenly matched and, although both sides created scoring opportunities, no goals were scored in the first half. All Hallows players showed some impressive individual skills and their combinations worked well, but were unable to finish off.
The second half continued much as the first but in the 10th minute Toni Anda carried the ball from inside her half and scored. Tails up we exerted more pressure and although All Hallows caused a few scares, we were able to score again through Kendal Buchanan and keep them scoreless. Some great individual performances from our players including Hinehou Te Ua in goal!
A satisfying 2 – 0 win!
