Although we were short a number of our regular starters we cannot blame this for our result. We performed well in patches but our performance was very much below par.
HGHS scored 2 quick goals and we were put off our stride somewhat. We scored a field goal finished off by Phoebe Boyes but before we could capitalize on progress made HGHS scored again. 3 – 1 down at the break.
HGHS continued to get the better of us scoring twice in the second half before we were again able to score just before full time (through Kendal Buchanan). A disappointing result but perhaps not a bad time for it to happen. The team is still on track to make the division semifinal with one more match in round robin play.
