On Saturday the 16th of November the Lodge Real Estate 1st XI played against Cambridge. After winning the toss and choosing to bowl the First XI did very well. Constant pressure and good fielding from us restricted them to 195. With the wickets being shared 2 apiece for Dave Hancock, Shiv Achary, Declan O’Sullivan and Will Potter, and 1 for Kuwyn Price and Jae Broomfield.

With old Collegian Matthew Fisher in the Cambridge team, the boys knew it would be a tough challenge. We lost a couple of wickets early but the counter-attack by Declan O’Sullivan (36 off 29 deliveries) proved to be very effective top-scoring for St Pauls. A lot of positives and learnings to be taken out of this game, but a very good effort from the boys against a very good bowling attack.
