Excellent first half from SPC where the finishing in front of goal was the only thing missing. Started the second half very well and quickly took up a 3-1 lead.
With 15 minutes to go SPC were down to 10 ment with a player harshly sent off for two yellow card offences. This let St Johns back into the game and they were able to equalise with 2 minutes to go, forcing extra time.
A really tough ask for SPC to play an additional 20 minutes with a player less but the boys showed tremendous character and were able to re-take the lead 4-3 through George Ott and close the game.
