Meeting Hamilton Boys High School Black rugby team once again, the U16’s knew that they had to put together a better performance in order to be competitive this time around. Starting well, we had the opposition under a lot of pressure and looked to be in control. Unfortunately, we allowed a soft try to be scored minutes before half-time and went into the break 7 - 0 down.
Despite a valiant effort in the second half Hamilton Boys kicked into second gear and ran in 4 further tries making the final score 33 to 5. This was a much better performance compared to the last time that we met and was testimony to the amount of improvement the St Paul's U16 rugby team has made.
