The U65Kg Porcupine side played their best game of the season when they toppled St John’s College A side 26 – 22. Having previously lost two earlier games to St John’s, our side put in a huge team effort. The backs played with real fluency and had the better of their opposition, while the forwards tackled tirelessly and were quick and decisive at the break down. Tries were scored by Morgan Dunn, Jesse Hill and inspirational captain, Harry Smith (2). While Daniel Pearse was selected as Best Forward in a nugget pack and Tim Grigg had his best game of the season, showing real pace and courage at both wing and centre.
