St John’s took early control of the game against the U65’s dominating possession and territory. The talented St John’s backline opened up our defence out wide and St Johns scored three tries going to half time with a 19 to nil score line. St Paul’s gained more possession in the second half and the momentum of the game changed. Finally, more continuity of play put St Johns under pressure and St Pauls came back into the match with three second half tries. St Paul’s can be proud of the grit and determination they showed in the second half. The boys can be congratulated on a gutsy season.
