St Pauls Girls 1st XI travelled to Tauranga to play Aquinas in the Midlands Inter-City competition semi final.
Aquinas scored an early goal before St Pauls found their form and some fine passing up the field finished off by Millie and Suk saw us equalise. Despite many more good scoring opportunities the score remained 1-1 at half time. The second half saw St Pauls continue to dominate play and score two more goals.
Aquinas got themselves back into the game and scored two goals to equalise again and see the half out. Full time score 3-3 which led to penalty strokes to determine the winner. St Pauls took out the stroke competition 4-2 a well deserved win from a good team effort all round.
