St. Paul's open A can proudly say they are the first school team to make the Thursday grade netball so it was stepping into the unknown to come up against the second ranked team Suburbs last night. A few of the opposition are starting line up for the Magic as well as Silver Fern trialists, so play was intense and very physical. We held our own through the first half ending with only a 12 goal difference, showing that we do deserve our place here. The second half we lost our way and we have learnt we will need to find more conviction and a bit of physical intenseness to bring to the next game.
