St Paul’s started off well by dominating the first 15 minutes of the game. Two tries were scored by Jackson Morgan and the score was 12-0. The team got unsettled after some rough play by Morrinsville. Two Morrinsville players were yellow carded. The team failed to take advantage of this and the remainder of the first half resulted in a try a piece. A good try was scored out wide by Ben Sullivan. Half time score 19 – 7 to St Paul’s. The second half was a more even contest with Morrinsville scoring two tries. Dean Fullerton sealed the game with a try in the last five minutes of the half. Final score 26 – 17.
