With the help of some returning Tihoi Boys, St Paul's put up a strong front in the icy conditions. It was an evenly matched game in the first half but a gap in concentration at the back put Cambridge 1 up at half time. St Pauls were playing well though, and the result eventually came. Oliver O'Meeghan scored off a free-kick and the tireless work of Joshua O'Donoghue throughout the match set up Jack Sturm, who scored the winning goal.
