High scoring, unbeaten league leaders Thames were the visitors on Saturday. This didn't phase St Paul's who played some superb passing football in the first half and thoroughly deserved to be 2 nil up at half time. Captain Britt Griffin and Mackenzie Batters scored the goals with fine strikes from outside the penalty area. The league leaders came back strong in the 2nd half and levelled the score. It was an exciting game and a draw was a fair result in the end. All of which preserves St Paul's unbeaten start to the league campaign and finds the side pleasantly nestled, above the foothills, just below the summit, in the league table.
