The Under 55 Black team showed how much they have improved when they defeated St John's 24 – 7. The boys had played this team in the first game of the season and lost 15 – 22. The team put pressure on St John’s throughout the match, never letting them settle in to the game. Four excellent team tries were scored (Nicholas O’Neill 2, James Barker, Henry Mandeno) – two converted by Jahan Singh. St Paul’s showed great commitment and the opposition only crossed their line in the last minute of the game.
