The U65’s grounded out a solid 14 – 0 win against a physical Morrinsville side. Morrinsville did most of the attacking in the first half, but a late try by Matthew Spence saw the half time score of 7-0. The game see-sawed in the second half until Matthew Spence got in behind the Morrinsville defence, setting up Fergus Hunt to score under the posts. Two conversions by Jesse Hill.
