This Saturday saw the first round of the premier league, but also saw the first national tournament qualifier of the season.
The game was against St John's 1st XI. Two very evenly matched sides fort out an exciting encounter. St Paul's definitely had the better chances in the first half, but unfortunately saw themselves 1 - 0 down at the break. This soon became 2 - 0 down, but the belief in the team remained high. Jacob Rae scored first at the 54th minute and then Jasom Khatkar 3 minutes later. Both teams had severely excellent changes, but it was St John's who scored next in the final minute of the game. Not giving up, St Paul's attacked straight from the kickoff, and George Ott with the last kick of the game scored the tying goal.
