The very wet hockey turf made the conditions difficult for the players to run and make accurate passes. However, St Paul’s started well with Felix Rolls scoring from a Penalty corner in the first 2 minutes of game followed up with another with a very powerful drag flick from Reuben Andrews. St Paul's continued to dominate the game with ball and field position by scoring another 4 goals .
The half -time score 5 - 0 to SPC.
In the second half St Paul's continued to dominate the game. The team created a number of opportunities from good accurate passing and positional play. Reuben had a field day in opposition defensive circle by scoring six goals followed by Maks Wyndham Smith 1 goal, Felix Rolls 1 goal, Garrick Du Toit 1 goal and Ben Sarikaya 1 goal.
