The first half was very tough, with St Paul's dominating set piece, possession and territory, but failing to convert the pressure into points. After a dominate half we only led 5-0 at half time thanks to a try from Lachie Finch. The second half saw more of the same, however, continual high tackles and poor discipline from Boys High saw two of their players yellow carded, allowing St Paul's to pull away with two more try's, one to Matthew Wilson and the other to Wilson Wolfe. A scrappy win for St Paul's 15-0 who now have a bye before a semi final in two weeks.
