A flurry of early goals to Bethlehem College saw the football girls 5-0 down in a short period of time. Once the team rallied together, the game became more even. A beautiful goal from Georgia Burke led a mini- resurgence, but at half time the score was 7-1 to Bethlehem.
The second half saw St Paul's show a lot of heart. Solid defending by Emi Ng, ably backed up by Donna Smit and Tori Reeves, and strong performances up front from Kacey Diggelmann and Georgia Guest meant that that second half remained scoreless.
