Playing our second game of the day saw us start well with players giving it their all. 4 minutes into the game saw us score through Maddy Tims but this was the only goal of the half.
St Peter’s came back at us scoring in the second minute of the second half. We were able to construct another penetration into the opposition circle and again scored through Maddy 4 minutes later. Both sides worked hard in the second half but no further goals ensued.
Well done and ‘thank you’ to Georgia Burke who stood in as goalie and congratulations to Maddy, our player of the day, who scored 6 goals in her two matches of the day!
A 2 – 1 win to give us 5th place in the Waikato girl’s A-division before going into our intercity competition.
