This was a very tight game played in good spirits. Wanganui scored first after putting us under pressure. We were able to equalise through Maddy Tims and so the game was to continue. At no stage was the score different by more than one goal. Jade Henley-Smith scored our second and Maddy our third. Wanganui were able to score once more and although we got close we were not able to draw even again. The girls are to be commended on a great effort, and a never say die attitude, even though we had tired towards the last 10 minutes of the game.
