An injury and illness-depleted Girls 1st XI had an evenly matched contest with Hamilton Girls' High 2nd XI. Excellent goal-keeping by Olivia Street, and some missed opportunities up front, saw us head into the second half at 0-0. A well-constructed goal to HGHS was immediately matched with a goal from Georgia Burke—the result of some quick, intelligent passing between Georgia and Brittney.
A second goal late in the game to HGHS saw us hard on attack for the last few minutes, but with no result.
