In horrible weather conditions Fairfield started stronger and went ahead early with a penalty. St Paul’s hit back straight away when a fumble by Fairfield was kicked through by Matthew Wilson, who was able to re-gather and score. Luke Donaldson also scored for St Paul’s to take a 12-3 lead into the half time break. In the 2nd half it was all one way traffic with St Paul’s running in six more tries to win 50-3. Aaron Humble had an excellent day with the boot, converting most tries, many from out wide in wet and slippery conditions. A great team performance.
