Playing our first home game of the season, the team knew they had to step up and make this game a victory. The game started off well with us dominating an average Hillcrest 1st XI. 15 minutes into the game, centre back Chris Swanson stepped up at a corner and found the back of the net. 10 minutes later a beautiful kick from outside the box sailed over the keeper making the score 2-0 from Zac Newdick. Going into the second half 2-0 we lost a bit of shape but never looked like losing the match finishing this National Qualifier 2-0 to St Paul's.
