St Paul’s best game to date! St Paul’s went on the attack from the first whistle, forcing a penalty corner in the first minute. It was unconverted, but a second attack saw the ball worked up from our half line, crossed from the right wing and slotted in off the left hand post by Josie Wilson. Our first goal in the second minute. The standard of play had been set and we scored three more goals in the first half – one each to Renee Saunders, Zoe Lapwood and Kendal Buchanan. 4 - 0 at the break.
St Paul’s continued to retain the upper hand and scored twice in the second half through Laura McKenna and Phoebe Boyes. A 6 - 0 win against the only other undefeated side in our division!
A great team effort, where much of what we worked on in training was put in to practice in the match – very proud coaching staff!
